From Kocher to the Jagst: Schwaebisch Hall to Jagsthausen

Download GPX track

After two months of holiday after the first half of my cycling adventure, I started a separate stint to also tick-off Hesse from my list of federal German states.

Hesse is located so centrally that I didn’t find an elegant way to include it into my tour otherwise.
I also have two weeks time before an appointment at the dentist, so this seemed to be the optimal use of the waiting time 🙂
On my first day, I followed my „birth“ river, the Kocher, which also runs through Schwaebisch Hall, my home town. Until now, I never cycled very far along it’s river bank and I must say: it is BEAUTIFUL there and I will certainly come back more often 🙂
At the end of today’s trip, I crossed over the ridge to access the second river of my journey, the Jagst.

Note: since my phone gave up saving my tracks reliably and I also didn’t have internet access during most of the trip, I’m using gps tracks from tourist websites.
