Today was a very rare highlight since I’ve done close to nothing.
Got up at about 8AM for a nice „continental“ breakfast (strawberry jam, butter on toast, 2 glasses of orange juice and a cinnamon muffin). After some internet time…off to the Fountain Park, lying in the shade for 2-3 hours and doing just nothing.
After that I went over to Jorge to say Hello and had a long chat about honesty and friendship. Thanks a lot, Jorge, I’ll keep your advise in mind!!!
After that returning to the park where there were in fact a lot of other people doing close to nothing. So I returned to that plan and even fell asleep for some time after a not so comfortable night in a small bedroom with 7 other foreign people and a running air conditioning (I think I have to get used to that sound…).
When I finally got hungry I went to the minimarket and got some bananas and waffles (my lunch of the day) and returned to the hostel.
Tonight, there will be more live music in the lobby and in one hour (hopefully) I will hopefully find some dinner with the French guy who is in the top bunk and currently phoning with his girl friend via skype.
The plan for tomorrow doesn’t look so different from today’s just that Julia is coming back from Quebec and will be staying in the same hostel. So I’m already excited what she can tell about Quebec.
